Showing the way to a positive transition

If there is one thing to remember, the selected innovators have surprised the yachting industry. It was the first time that the Monaco Smart Yacht was happening, and yachting industry representants came to us to share their surprise regarding the high level of innovation. They have discovered most of the companies and are leaving Monaco convinced that you are contributing and bringing additional value in the green transition of yachting. In total, 181 digital meetings were held during the jury process, and 50 “coups de coeur” (personal favorite) were attributed. The Blumorpho team truly believes that we can together make a shift in this industry, and lead it towards sustainability. We also know that this was just the first step, and that we are ready to build the next steps.

One goal, so many people dedicated to make it work

Hosted in the context of the 6th edition of the Monaco Ocean Week, the Monaco Smart Yacht Rendezvous was held on March 23 & 24. This week organized by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation is entirely dedicated to ocean conservation and better management of resources according to SDG 14 – Life below water. In this context, innovators and yachting industry players gathered at the Monaco Yacht Club, under the aegis of Monaco Marina Management and innovation partner Blumorpho to promote innovation in favor of the transition of the yachting industry.

Prior to the event, the organization committee has made a selection of innovative solutions, and every company has joined to present their innovation, and their ambition to build the yacht of the future.

These companies were divided in categories:

  • Startup
  • Scaleup
  • Corporate

Each one was representing one of the steps of the yacht’s life cycle: from the R&D stage up to the retrofitting of the yacht.

75% of candidates have been elected “coup de cœur” at least once by their jury members.

Meet the jurors

Our jury members were highly interested in the companies they met with and they were eager to learn more about them during the event. In conclusion, they have elected three winners. Congratulations to the 2023 laureates. In the startup category, congratulations to nlcomp. In the scaleup category, the winner is Lineat Composites. Finally, in the corporate category, Wisamo took the win.

50 startups and scaleups, and 10 corporate players were gathered to bring innovation and sustainability all along the yacht’s life cycle. Amongst all of them, 8 were selected to pitch. 3 were the winners. We are delighted to offer you the replay below:

Participants feedback

Our next Rendezvous will be the Monaco Sustainable & Smart Marina. For the third edition, we will gather at the Yacht Club de Monaco on September 24 and 25, right before the Monaco Yacht Show.
