Your Responsibilities
The best way to describe your role is to be “the go-to person for innovation start-ups.”
• Innovation scouting – identify innovative start-ups that align with the needs and expectations of our clients
• Engage start-ups in innovation activities and the BLUMORPHO network
• Support start-ups and organize their exchange opportunities with our industrial partners and investors in ecosystem design actions
• Maintain and nurture innovation ecosystems in various domains
• Participate in the organization and execution of open innovation events
• Implement follow-up actions to ensure that start-ups remain engaged in our initiatives
• Facilitate digital sessions to promote the image of BLUMORPHO and the visibility of start-ups
• Promote BLUMORPHO and promising start-ups through social networks
• Assist in the execution of European projects within the framework of Horizon 2020 & Horizon Europe
• Conduct market intelligence and identify disruption opportunities

 

Your Skills
Interpersonal skills and curiosity will be essential for this role. Below is a non-exhaustive list of other skills that will be necessary or appreciated:
• Fluent in spoken and written English and French (additional languages are a plus)
• Comfortable with public speaking
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Demonstrated interest in new technologies and/or innovation management
• Experience in business development or a marketing role (internships considered)
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar tools is appreciated
• Experience with digital marketing tools
• Project management experience

Join BLUMORPHO to collaborate with European Partners (Research organisations, institutions, industrials, startups) as an Innovation Project Manager.

In the frame of your position, you would:

  • Detect & analyse the development needs for innovative solutions in Europe.
  • Analyse current value chains
  • Map current and developing solutions worldwide
  • Detect opportunities for new value propositions through marketing analyses.
  • Lead Open Innovation actions to detect innovative solutions & answer market needs.
  • Contribute to the promotion of innovation actions supported by public and private funds
  • Develop project management skills on an international project with multiple partners.
  • Understand innovative markets segmentation, business case & business plan construction, and fundraising strategy.

We wish to interact with candidates with an Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship background, with a strong sensitivity/double education in electronics or engineering fields.

Our opportunities are compensated, based in Paris (8°), 38 rue Jean Mermoz, with a possibility of occasionally working from home.

Join BLUMORPHO, innovation partner of large groups for the emergence of new technical solutions and new business models. Very active on a European and international scale, BLUMORPHO offers internships lasting 3 to 6 months, which are periods of training in our areas of activity, our working methods and to our tools, with permanent hires at the end of your internship. As part of your internship, you will be able to:
  • Analyze market trends in various areas
  • Detect opportunities for new value propositions through analysis marketing
  • Analyze the technological differentiations of innovative solutions
  • Interact with start-ups in their business development and fundraising activities
  • Develop communication and digital marketing skills
  • Develop sectoral expertise
  • Be trained on the different BLUMORPHO tools (CRM, digital platform, digital communication, networking platform, social networks…..)
  • Join European consortia to work on the emergence of innovative solutions

Graduate or graduating from an innovation and entrepreneurship programme, you aspire to work on a very concrete case of innovative solutions development for pulmonary diseases diagnostics in emerging countries. Join BLUMORPHO to collaborate with European Partners (Research organisations, institutions, industrials), for a 4 to 6 months internship or an apprenticeship as an Innovation Project Manager. In the frame of your position, you would:
  • Detect & analyse the development needs for innovative solutions in Sub-Saharan African Markets.
  • Analyse current value chains
  • Map current and developing solutions
  • Detect opportunities for new value propositions through marketing analyses.
  • Lead Open Innovation actions to detect innovative solutions & answer market needs.
  • Contribute to the promotion of this innovation action funded by the European Commission
  • Develop project management skills on an international project with multiple partners.
  • Understand innovative markets segmentation, business case & business plan construction, and fundraising strategy.
