BLUMORPHO representing a large corporation leader in its field is looking for a solution to regulate the gas flow produced by a miniaturised reactor

In the use case scenario, some chemical reactants are loaded in a receptacle of approximately 1cm3. Under the normal working conditions, between 30 to 40°C, the chemical reaction will continuously generate gas. The amount of gas generated exceeds the targeted flow rate and a regulation system is necessary.

The targeted flow rate is fixed to a value of 20nl/min, this flow must be maintained within an accuracy of 30 to 40%. This building block will be integrated into the early stage of a product development. At this stage, all the options can be considered and concepts can be active, passive…

We are looking for a strategic partner with competencies in (but not limited to):

  • Micro-mechanics
  • Microfluidics
  • MEMS
  • Smart material
  • Gas management
  • Gas leak control

The objective is to design and develop a prototype with a kick off in Q1-2020.
