EU invests €220 million to test AI solutions for better health, food, industry, and everyday life

To make the EU the place where AI excellence thrives from the lab to the market, the European Union is setting up world-class Testing and Experimentation Facilities (TEFs) for AI. TEFs are open to all technology providers across Europe to test and experiment at scale state-of-the art AI solutions.

The EU project TEF-Health is a network of more than 50 real testing facilities such as hospital platforms, both physical infrastructures and data and compute infrastructures, living labs, etc. The use-cases are defined in four domains: Neurotechnologies, Cancer, CardioVascular and Intensive Care.
