50k EU companies to report extra-financial information under CSRD since 2021.

Starting April 2021, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) will concern 50k European companies, standardizing extra-financial information and accelerating the transition towards sustainable models. Before its revision, 11k companies (only large ones) were concerned.

Our comment :

To address Scope 3 emissions and exceed regulatory requirements, small businesses working with large companies must fully disclose their environmental performance. Compliance with these directives will require collaboration among all stakeholders in the value chain.
