TRUMPF considers it is part of its corporate responsibility to handle resources carefully and to avoid negative impacts on the environment as much as possible. This is why TRUMPF set itself ambitious global climate protection targets and supports the 1.5 degree goal of the Paris Agreement. More specifically, TRUMPF is planning to collaborate and/or invest in companies offering a high level of differentiation and strong value proposition in the following fields of interest:
Water Treatment & Optimisation, including treatment, detoxification, purification, filtering for industrial water management
Energy Management: savings, and the decarbonation of energy;
Circular Economy including sustain tech solutions as well as tools to predict, monitor and trace the impact of actions.
The activity in space is booming and this is just the beginning. TRUMPF is looking to collaborate and/ or invest in start-ups with the ambition to deliver technologies for satellites for both the upstream and downstream business. Photonics and lasers being part of the TRUMPF’s DNA, a particular attention will be given to photonic technologies applied in the new space area, where strong synergies are expected.

To enter the selection process, please fill in the application form, so your company can be introduced to TRUMPF’s team. We strongly encourage you to start your application form as soon as possible.
To guide you through the selection process, the TRUMPF Venture team will introduce you to TRUMPF’s activities and to TRUMPF’s Venture investment policy during an open web-meeting. The topics and interest in Resources Optimization (Water, Energy) and New Space will be detailed.
Pre-selected companies will be invited to send a more detailed presentation. All applicants will receive feedback from the BLUMORPHO team. Companies expressing their interest in collaborating with TRUMPF late in the process might not have the time to be evaluated by the TRUMPF team.
Among the selected companies for collaboration, 15 will be invited to join the Internal TRUMPF Venture Forum in Ditzingen (Germany) to introduce their activities to the TRUMPF’s Management and Business Units and to define a collaboration roadmap during dedicated meetings.
All applications will be introduced to the TRUMPF Venture team in charge of the selection.
